About Us

Our Story

Started From Frustration. Built With Purpose.

Most people discover what a bottleneck is only after they have already spent money. That backward reality is what pushed us to build this platform. Not as a commercial venture first, but as a solution to something genuinely frustrating: the absence of a single, reliable, no-nonsense tool that could tell you, in plain language, whether your CPU and GPU were actually working in harmony, or quietly sabotaging each other. Your Bottleneck Calculator started from personal experience. Watching a high-end GPU idle at 60% utilization while a mid-range processor maxed out beside it, the numbers were obvious. The waste was real. And yet the internet at the time offered nothing better than lengthy forum debates and contradictory Reddit threads. So the decision was made to build something more useful.

What This Platform Is Actually Built For

Real-World Data Foundation

The results you see here are not guesses. The database behind the calculator draws from thousands of real-world benchmark configurations and user-reported performance data.

Continuously Updated System

It is updated regularly as new CPUs and GPUs enter the market, because a tool that does not evolve with hardware quickly becomes outdated and less useful.

Beyond Specification Sheets

We have been through enough hardware generations to understand that specification sheets tell only part of the story. Real performance is shaped by multiple factors that benchmarks often miss, so our approach considers that gap.

Who Uses This Tool and Why It Matters

The user base here is more diverse than you might expect. First-time builders use it to validate their component choices before checkout. Experienced enthusiasts run comparisons to evaluate upgrade paths. IT professionals use it to spec out workstations for specific production tasks. And parents, partners, and friends of PC gamers use it to figure out whether that GPU upgrade is actually worth buying as a gift. All of them arrive with the same underlying question: will these parts work well together? That question deserves a straight answer, and this platform is built to deliver exactly that.

Honest Recommendations, No Manufacturer Bias

One thing worth saying plainly: we do not receive payments or commissions from hardware manufacturers to push specific products. Recommendations on this site are based on data and user benefit, not affiliate priorities. When we say a particular pairing is well-matched or poorly balanced, that assessment comes from the numbers, not from a marketing relationship. This independence is something we protect deliberately. The moment a performance tool starts optimizing for revenue over accuracy, it stops being useful. We would rather be honest and less profitable than popular and misleading.

A Resource That Grows With You

We are not finished building. New hardware comparisons, expanded workload-specific analysis, and deeper upgrade path guidance are all part of what this platform is becoming. The foundation exists. The direction is clear. And every piece of feedback from users shapes what gets prioritized next. If you have used the tool and want to share what you found helpful, or what you think is missing, the contact page is the right place to start. We read every message personally.
